The end of May and the beginning of June is a good angling time. Usually, hungry, after-spawn breams and active (despite spawning) tenches, crucians and carps seek food. Apart from that, nice weather makes spending time by the water more comfortable. In conclusion it's great occasion to go fishing.
To achieve angling success we need to find appropriate place. It's worth to go through bottom topography to maximize our chance to catch big fish.
Breams would stay in bays without wind where the deep would has 2-3 meters and there's some mud on the bottom . There they would have a lot of food like worms or snails which help them to recover themselves after spawning. There are also tenches' and crucians' "canteens" so it's possible to catch representants of these species too.
In good fisheries, by sunrises and sunsets you would see surfacing fish. Also, on the water should appear some groups of bubbles. They means it's really promising fishery.
If you find good fishery you need to throw there some groundbait. Surely I don't mean dusty groundbaits like these in angling shops, but grains like corn for example. At least you should throwing 2-4 kilos per one day. That quantity should attract big carp fish and also wouldn't be expensive as normal groundbait.
Corn and peas would be great to groundbaiting. They have awesome smell and quite nice energetic value. If you'll buy dry corn or peas (they're already the cheapest), put they in the water for at least 12 hours and next boil them until they're middle-soft.
When the fishery is prepare we can finally go angling. Personally I use wagllers on main line which is at least 0,2 mm diameter. In my opinion it's absolutely minimum. Next, there is one big shot 20 cm before the hook nr 10 with 2 corns on it. I position it in way that shot is on the bottom and the wagller is outstanding by all its length.
I start angling before sunrise. Often, when i start fishing little roaches or rudds try to eat my bait. If you have the same problem just throw 2-3 handfuls of grains right in your waggler and when tenches or breams will appear in your fishery little fish would get out.
